Practicing Italian. I’m learning means that you will be corrected every time you try.
Whether the accent was wrong, I forgot a word, or I don’t know how to say it. Everyone will correct you. It’s humbling to try something, put yourself out there and know that it’s not going to be perfect. It needs to be corrected because I am awful at Italian right now. And I need help.
But I also find myself getting red and sweaty every time I practice in front of someone who knows more than me. They’re going to know I am doing it wrong.
But I’m learning and my win is that I knew more Italian than I knew on Monday.
Buona sera.
